Styled Session | The J.Crew Chino Short

When looking at my past styled posts, I noticed that they all tend towards the more trendy, towards the more funky. And while that’s definitely a good indicator of my style… the thing is, I love ALL styles. Which is a serious problem for my wallet, and my closet space. I love mixing classic pieces with more updated looks, or wearing something completely unexpected. I love experimenting with colors (this must come from the 3 years I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch, where I could literally only wear navy, white, or gray!), LOVE experimenting with accessories, and am always looking to put things together in a new and different way.

But, you can never go wrong with a classic. And as much as I like to “play” when I’m getting dressed, there’s also a very preppy girl hidden inside me, and sometimes, she demands to be brought to light. Hence my key piece in today’s post, the J.Crew 3” chino short… in what other color but? Yep, MINT. I bought these last year actually and they are a constant staple in my wardrobe. When paired with a crisp linen shirt and fresh accessories, it’s classic, pulled together, but still fun. – A
