Rain slid down the windows of the bridal suite, as cargo ships sliced through the water, their shapes barely noticeable in the dense fog that was forming. But even though the outside was grey, inside the suite, she radiated energy. A warm glow that outshone the weather, no matter how hard it tried to dampen the mood. Giggling and laughing, umbrellas in coordinating wedding colors at the ready, nothing would stand in her way today. Today, he would become hers.

Rain slid down the windows of the Officer’s Club, as pool balls were racked and bow ties adjusted. He chatted nervously with his groomsmen, sipping a glass of wine and anxiously awaiting the clock to strike 4:30. All day, people had commented on how gorgeous she looked, and he was ready to find out for himself. As the grey clouds continued to roll in, he knew without a doubt that her smile would light up the whole room and outshine anything Mother Nature could offer. For today, she would become his.

Stephanie and Johnny, thank you both SO much. As soon as we entered the bridal suite and were told there were umbrellas for “singing in the rain” photos, we knew that everything would be perfect. So much energy, so much love, so much emotion poured out of everyone, and we were blessed to be there to witness it. – A
