Whenever we are scheduling our couple’s engagements shoots, one of the biggest questions is always WHERE the session will take place. We understand, and don’t expect, that our clients don’t necessarily know what constitutes a “good location” and we also know that since this is their first time doing this, they don’t really know what to expect! Whenever possible though, we love when our clients pick out their engagement locations! Usually, they pick a place with special meaning, whether it’s a family place, a place they always go, or even just an area they find particularly beautiful. We are more than happy to help our clients pick out a location, but when they come to us with the perfect spot, we get especially excited!
This was 100% the case with Jessica + Ryan! Ryan’s grandmother has an absolutely gorgeous property out in Pungo and when Jessica mentioned it to me I was immediately onboard. What better place to have your engagement photos than at a place so special to both of them?! And as an added bonus, the property was seriously one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. Barns and grapevines mingled with crab pots and grass six feet high. Old oak trees and buttercups, tractors and a Golden Retriever named Mia all came together for absolutely one of my favorite engagement sessions EVER! I had a blast with these guys and can’t wait for their October wedding! – A
This was literally the third or fourth frame of the session – and then I knew everything was gonna be awesome haha!
Jessica has awesome hair, I’m jealous!
I would like to give a shoutout to my hubby Jeremy – he came along with me and shot some stuff and the next set is all him! So proud of him! He’ll be filming Jessica + Ryan’s wedding alongside us – hooray!
And then I died. EEEEK!
It was about this time that a gigantic spider crawled across Ryan’s shorts. These two just leisurely wiped him away, while I tried everything in my power not to scream and run the opposite direction. I don’t do spiders! They are braver than me.
A quick outfit change and the acquisition of Miss Mia and we finished up down by the gorgeous waterfront area!
