If I could sum up Luice and Jeremy’s wedding in one word, it would be: excitement. I have truly never seen a couple so EXCITED for their wedding. For their new life ahead together, for the time to spend with their family and friends, and to be marrying each other. Facebook posts leading up to Sunday were a countdown, 2 days till they get to spend every day together…1 day till getting married… 4 hours until she became Mrs. Tate. Smiles so wide and infectious that you felt happy just being near them. A look that can go in the dictionary under “in awe” when he saw his bride coming down the aisle, and a million kisses and hugs, holding each other tight every chance they got, embracing their future with all the gusto that can only come from two people wildly in love.
Luice + Jeremy- we truly felt like we witnessed something special on Sunday. Seeing you two get married, and your genuine joy and wonder made me want to run home and hug my husband a little bit tighter. The way you so obviously cherish each other is inspiring and something I will not soon forget. Always hold tight to the way you feel now, just as you held tight to each other on your wedding day. Have a blast on your honeymoon! – A

There’s that look of awe…

Luice + Jeremy did a traditional Chinese tea ceremony during the wedding ceremony to honor tradition. It was beautiful!
I don’t know if you can tell, but in the left photo, Jeremy is literally bouncing up and down in anticipation of kissing his wife. Adorable.
Right after the ceremony, Luice + Jeremy wanted to stop at The Stone House, a gorgeous Civil War era home on the way to the reception. SO glad we did. Get ready for some of my favorite wedding portraits ever!
LOVE!
Hands down, one of my favorite wedding images to date.
About two seconds after the above photo, it started pouring rain, so we ran to the car and headed to Bull Run… upon arrival we found a covered area and kept shooting!

After dinner, the skies cleared and Luice asked if we could go outside to get some photos on the golf course… I’m pretty sure you knew what my answer was. More portrait time?! Yes please!!! We love when our clients make portraits a priority and we were more than happy to oblige!
