Love Enough | Cory Lane, on Film.

Sometimes, as much as I love photography, there are times that it feels like a JOB. That’s usually when I’m up to my ears in editing, looking at a calendar full of sessions and wondering when I might actually see my husband again during daylight hours haha. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE what I do. But there are times that I need to pick my camera up for ME, and not for anyone else. So when one of my dearest friends Cory approached me about a concept shoot that she had in mind, I was in without question. Cory is such a beautiful person, inside and out, and I knew that her idea was exactly what I needed to feel rejuvenated and excited about my work.

I’ve shared some sneak peeks here and there, but this session was also the first time I really brought out my Canon AE-1 to photograph. I switched back and forth, so some of the images are digital with my Mark II and some are with Kodak Portra 400. This session was not only something that lifted a weight in Cory’s life, but also lifted one in mine. We’re still working on the rest of the project, but I pretty much just couldn’t wait anymore to share some of my favorite images! And seriously, Cory is the most beautiful human being on the planet and I could photograph her all day! – A

Cory made the beautiful flower headband and I was obsessed.
