Just Awesome Monday | Being Adventurers.

Happy Monday!! Today marks the beginning of two of the craziest, most fun, probably going to leave me wanting to sleep for forever weeks adventures Jeremy and I have ever set out on!

Early tomorrow morning, we leave for Wintergreen Resort for three days. Jeremy will be attending a work conference for his day job, and I’m tagging along to take a “workcation”…I’m super excited to get a ton of work done. Something about being in a new environment, especially when you’re at a gorgeous resort in the Virginia mountains sparks my creativity.

Thursday, once the conference ends, we’re going to have an official “day date” and go beer tasting at Blue Mountain Brewery, followed up by wine tasting at Veritas, and hopefully some apple picking at Carter’s Mountain! I am so so excited to just spend some quality time with Jeremy, we’ve been trying to go visit Veritas NOT shooting a wedding for two years now!

Friday morning first thing we’re heading to Leesburg so Jeremy can check out our wedding venue! Then right after that we are on the way to Brooklyn for two days in the city!! THEN we immediately return home only to leave the next day for another couple of days in New England. WHEW!

All this to say that this is the life I am SO thankful to lead. I am so thankful that I have a job, and an amazing husband, who wants to be adventurous with me. There are times when I am chained to my desk for days on end, and as the busiest season of the year slowly starts winding down (we only have three more weddings to photograph!), I am thankful for the opportunity to go out and explore the world a bit. – A
