You may remember Alicia and Rob from their amazing one year session earlier this year! I loved working with them and love their sense of style, so when she reached out to inquire about a family session for her family this fall, I was super excited! I’m currently only taking on very limited family sessions for the holidays, so if you are interested in a session, contact me ASAP!
Alicia had the great idea to meet in Reston, and it was perfect! The cutest little town ever with so many awesome nooks and crannies for photos! The weather was perfect for a midmorning session and was definitely the first fall day with a serious nip in the air! Alicia and her family did an absolutely awesome job of coordinating their outfits to be complementary but not matchy-matchy. Enjoy some of my favorites! – A
Photographing these two is always a joy, seriously, they’re so photogenic and comfortable in front of the camera! (Although Rob might tell you that’s just because Alicia likes to involve him in as many photo shoots as possible haha).
I was so excited when I saw this little barn stuck back off the road. It went perfectly with their clothing choices!
LOVE this one- if it wouldn’t be creepy to get a canvas of someone else’s family I might order one of these for myself HAH!
These two just celebrated 10 years of marriage, I love this photo!
This one needs to be giant somewhere in your house please!
So fun!
Love love love.
Right as we got to the tracks a train made it’s appearance. I was standing there thinking it would be fun to do a photo in front of the passing train, when Alicia yelled over the sound “CAN WE TAKE A PICTURE?!” Great minds.

Alicia - Don’t judge me… but I stalked the blog this morning til these were posted and I am in LOVE! I seriously need to move in to a larger apartment just to find room for all the prints I want to put up. Thank you so much for perfectly capturing our family!
